The PHOTONIS Optical Receiver optimizes sensitivity in optical communication applications, by offering a 12mm active collection area that is suitable for detecting fast optical signals in the green to ultraviolet spectral range.  Our Optical Receiver supports high data rates (up to 2GHz) through a number of gain stages, which provide output levels suitable for communications. 
This receiver is ideal for high-speed optical communications, including through-the-air and line-of-sight unmanned optical systems.  The inclusion of a high voltage power supply allows operation by application of only 12V input.  High speed signal output is supplied by a 50 ohm cable with an SMA connector.
